The European Human Genetics Conference 2026 (ESHG 2026), Gothenburg, Sweden, have been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 22.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that they actually spent in the educational activity. The daily credit breakdown is as follows:

  • June 13, 2026: 7.5 credits
  • June 14, 2026: 6 credits
  • June 15, 2026: 6 credits
  • June 16, 2026: 3 credits

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

How to claim credits?

In-person Participants

To claim CME credits in-person participants will need to scan their badges daily at the CME station and additionally answer the respective session evaluations, found in the virtual conference platform, by November 30, 2026 at 23:59 CEST (each evaluation will be available once the respective live session has concluded).

Online only participants

Online only participants will need to watch the respective sessions and additionally answer the respective session evaluations, found in the virtual conference platform, by November 30, 2026 at 23:59 CEST (each evaluation will be available once the respective live session has concluded).

Session evaluation on the virtual conference platform:

1. Add the respective session to your CME cart or add all respective sessions from ‘MyProgramme’ directly to the CME cart

2. Go to ‘CME Evaluation’ tab

3. Click on ‘Session evaluation’ next to the respective session and complete the evaluation form

4. Click ‘Submit’
