Attend sessions knowing your child is having fun, learning about life and is in safe hands

The ESHG appreciates that attending a conference may be a challenge for families and therefore likes to offer a Childcare Service to all registered participants at ESHG 2026 in Gothenburg.

ESHG will be partnering with a local childcare company and you will be able to pre-register your child(ren) for ESHG 2026. Please note that in order to comply with the MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice, ESHG will have to charge a service fee.

How does the childcare service work?

    • The Childcare Service will be located within the Congress Center
    • Children from 0-12 years of age are welcome
    • Children can stay in the area during the opening time of the service
    • Children must be taken out of the Childcare Service for meals (water will be available)
    • Parents must provide nappies and anything specific that their children may need (excluding medicines)
    • Age-appropriate activities will be organised by the agency
    • The working language of the ESHG Childcare Service is English

How to register your child

Registration deadline: tbc
On-site registration: Places are subject to availability and on a first-come, first-served basis.

You can pre-register your child(ren) during the regular registration process of the conference.

Please note that the following cancellation schedule applies for the booked childcare services (same as for the conference registration):

– until April 16, 2026                                      75% refund
– between April 17-May 21, 2026               25% refund
– as of May 22, 2026                                         no refund

After May 22, 2026 no refund can be made.

Notice of cancellation (e.g. in case of sickness, lack of funding or any other personal reasons) must be made in writing by e-mail to the ESHG Conference organisers: conference@eshg.org

The notification must include all relevant information regarding the bank account to which a possible refund may be remitted. The cancellation will not be effective until a written acknowledgement from the ESHG Conference organisers is received. Please note that a refund will only be made to the person acquiring a ticket and not to the named delegate if different from the original buyer.
